Fiber artist Juaquetta Holcomb spins hand-dyed fibers into yarn on opening night of the Kootenai County Downtown Farmers Market on 5th St. and Sherman Ave. Wednesday. People strolled in the cool weather to shop for plants, food and crafts while local bluegrass musician Scott Reid sang and played banjo.
The Farmers Market takes place rain or shine, downtown every Wednesday from 4-7 pm, as well as on Saturdays, at the corner of 95 and Prairie in Hayden, from 9 am to 1:30 pm.
